Medical History

Over 100 year 10 students and staff visited the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds, to support their GCSE History classroom work by examining medicine through time and specifically surgery during the First World War.

FGS Year 9/10 German students were given the opportunity to support their studies by experiencing an all-German language performance of ‘Auf Dem Campingplatz’ (On the Campsite).

Forty five Year 10 students and accompanying staff attended a residential Outward Bound Leadership Skills Course at Loch Eil in Scotland earlier this term.

Over 50 Flixton Girls School students joined participated in a group dance performance on the pitch at Anfield during the Rugby League Four Nations Series Final.
