New students 2023

Congratulations on your daughter being offered a place here at FGS! With over 400 applications for 180 places, we are delighted that your daughter has a place in our lovely school!

This is an exciting time as she embarks on a very important journey. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the "Flixton family" and look forward to us working together to inspire and empower her to become all that she can be.

Our transition event plans, are as below and we will be in-touch directly as they are confirmed. We are aiming to provide the following: 

• Our Welcome Evening on Wednesday 3rd May, on school premises
• FGS staff to visit as many year 6 classes, face to face, throughout the summer term. 
• Full induction day on Thursday 6th July.       

We will endeavour to make your daughter's preparation for joining us as personalised as possible and will be looking at running a potential academic summer school in the latter half of August, if we can. We will let you know details as soon as we are able to do so.
