All in This Together!

We are so proud of every single cast and crew-member for an amazing three-night run of this years’ Flixton Girls School production of High School Musical Junior – where everyone was most certainly ‘All in This Together!’

 

Following months of rehearsals, the cast and crew really did put on a dazzling, professional and polished performance of this Disney production. The story is based around East High, where the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, played by Ona Raphane, discovers that brainy Gabriella, played by Isabel Munday (a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip) has just enrolled at East High. The couple cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the ‘status quo’, Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

Motivation for our school production is the understanding that students can not only display performance skills, but also that it teaches them reliability, resilience, determination and dedication; all skills we at FGS actively encourage.

  

We know our FGS Performing Arts team are very proud of all students, without whom there wouldn’t have been a show - including those assisting backstage and colleagues who provided support with sound / lighting, costumes, set design, props and more – it really was a team effort - congratulations everyone!
