Cadets Pass Out
Posted at 3:04 pm on 30th November, 2017
A number of Flixton Girls students were involved in the growth of the ranks of Greater Manchester Police Volunteer Cadets earlier this month, when the latest intake’s passing out parade took place at Bolton’s Victoria Hall.
The High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Gerry Yeung OBE DL, Zunera Malik, Councillor Roger Hayes and Chief Constable Ian Hopkins.
The event was attended by new recruits from cadet units across the region, including those from the Trafford VPC who meet and use FGS facilities regularly.

The Greater Manchester Police Volunteer Police Cadets were founded in 2012. FGS supports the Trafford VPC and encourages our students to get involved in this programme of activities; as it follows through our founding principles of aspiration, empowerment and excellence outside the school environment.
