Image Not Found.Flixton Girls are set to smash the new government performance measures with another year of excellent GCSE results.
Headteacher Julie Hazeldine commented "The most rewarding thing about being a teacher is seeing your students succeed; at FGS we are seeing record numbers of girls exceeding expectations and achieving some fantastic results year on year."
The school which is currently fifth nationally compared to similar schools, is celebrating another year of great results including twins Lucy and Abi who have scooped an incredible 18 A* and A grades between them.
Sonia Schofield, Deputy Head in charge of Standards Progress and Achievement said "The girls have been really committed and determined to achieve the very best - I taught them myself for Psychology and I am really pleased for them, they really deserved it."
