Settling in Evening!

At Flixton Girls School (FGS) we aim to provide excellent parental communications and engagement with all members of our Flixton family. This is why hosting our year 7 ‘Settling in Event’ is a very important to us and the reassurance and continued communication process for both parents and students.

Due to limited face to face events, especially for this year group who transitioned from primary to secondary through the lockdown periods - we were able to provide a variety of staggered carousels including curriculum content, welfare, House systems and trip information. Maximising the forum for parental Q&A’s, whilst minimising group sizes and adhering to Public Health safety guidelines. 

Parental feedback from the event included:

We appreciate everyone’s assistance in following the latest Public Health guidelines, which ensures we are able to provide this type of event and continue open communication between home and school.
