Wellbeing Wednesday
Posted at 11:14 am on 1st November, 2017
Flixton Girls School extended its programme of health and wellbeing for this academic year with the first of our activity evenings; which took place at the end of last term. The event was a body combat exercise class run by Lynn from Mad Fitness UK.
Kay Statham, Sports Development Manager at FGS, comments: “The aim of our activities, this academic year, are to promote more physical activity and enhanced wellbeing for all our students, staff, families and members of the wider community.”
Over 25 attendees participated in this great fitness activity; which stimulated both body and mind. Mrs Green said ‘The event was excellent and my whole family really enjoyed it. Lynn was a really lovely trainer who pushed us hard. We’ll all definitely come to this type of event again. It was easy to book a place and fun for the whole family.’
For more information on future activities look out for social media posts and https://www.eventbrite.com/ registration for each event. Christmas Crafts on 29th November will be open soon.
